Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Min started the match with the kick off. Ardiles's Mauricio Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Blai in the 14th minute of play. Haroldo Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Guaberto Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Severino Min fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diego22's protests and gave Severino Min a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Orlando Markel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Transito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Henry From made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Mincho in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Diego22 got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Blai. In the 35th minute Gaston Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Diego22's Haroldo Elizardo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Daniel Haimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry From. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Haimar ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gaston Blai took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mauricio Transito to make any attempt to save it. Ambrosio Rubio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Mauricio Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Blai in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Solustiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Orlando Markel took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Transito. Mauricio Transito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mauricio Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Evarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Severino Min cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Mauricio Transito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego22's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
