Robustiano Beila charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Beila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Mariano Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Beila to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ramblones! The referee gave Mariano Moreno a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benedicto Acosta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ramblones's Rafael Oriche. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Armando Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Ángel Willis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Miguel Ángel Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramblones's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Willis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Mariano Moreno's Higinio Galo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Oriche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Armando Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariano Moreno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Lobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Mariano Moreno's goalkeeper Christian Jobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Ángel Willis. Cristo Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Christian Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Miguel Ángel Willis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Benigno Romano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Jobo. The goal made the score 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Armando Lobo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Miguel Ángel Willis made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mariano Moreno's Christian Jobo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benigno Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Romano struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Christian Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramblones. When Miguel Ángel Willis came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ramblones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ángel Willis couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mariano Moreno defense, Benigno Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Jobo. The Mariano Moreno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Jobo should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariano Moreno's goalkeeper Christian Jobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristo Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Mariano Moreno's Higinio Galo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Oriche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Galo got free with Rafael Oriche in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Willis in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Willis in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Jobo saved Mariano Moreno from getting behind. Benigno Romano might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Jobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Romano ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Benigno Romano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Jobo. Mariano Moreno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Romano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1.
