Timoteo Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joaquin Locaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pajaro's Leandro Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Santo in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Harriet in the 20th minute of play forced Pajaro's goalkeeper Leandro Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pajaro's Leandro Gelacio got control of the ball when Aurelio Izel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Izel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leandro Gelacio firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Gar during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Portugalete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Gar. Leandro Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Aurelio Izel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Gelacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Timoteo Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Locaio having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Segundo Cresconio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajaro and the Portugalete AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timoteo Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Locaio having to make a save. Ariel Santo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Leandro Gelacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugalete AFC. Leandro Gelacio came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugalete AFC's Ariel Santo. But to his dismay, Ariel Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 78th minute Aurelio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pajaro's Leandro Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Santo in the 79th minute of play. Franc Garrincha scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Locaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
