Enrique Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Ferro carril Oeste booed when Lirin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nicasio Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferro carril Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Sugoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Montrelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Pedro Cordareo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artemio Montrelle. The goal made the score 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nunez Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Toro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Bernardo Iaki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Cordareo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Montrelle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Toro in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Iaki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Ferro carril Oeste's Bernardo Iaki got control of the ball when Nunez Lluc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lirin FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ferro carril Oeste walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
