Modesto Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Jobo having to interfere. Christian Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Santo in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Modesto Harriet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Jobo. Modesto Harriet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Armando Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Locaio having to interfere. Christian Jobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Santo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Higinio Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariano Moreno's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Moreno's Christian Jobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mariano Moreno from getting a goal against them. Ariel Santo succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. With an all-out effort, Portugalete AFC's Christian Jobo threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ariel Santo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Locaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Galo in the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Jobo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Christian Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Harriet in the 38th minute of play. Ariel Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Christian Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Portugalete AFC's Christian Jobo threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ariel Santo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Ariel Santo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Jobo. Christian Jobo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ariel Santo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Santo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Santo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Jobo saved Mariano Moreno from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Santo in the 53rd minute of play forced Mariano Moreno's goalkeeper Christian Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Modesto Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugalete AFC's Modesto Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mariano Moreno getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Horacio Heli hit a great ball. Christian Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Santo in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Modesto Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Galo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joaquin Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariano Moreno. After 65 played minutes Mariano Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Flores. After a defensive mix-up in Mariano Moreno's zone, Aurelio Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Jobo came out of the goal and Aurelio Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Ariel Santo in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Jaime Gar came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Portugalete AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Gar couldn't finish the play. Portugalete AFC's Joaquin Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Lobo in the 74th minute of play. Robustiano Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Christian Jobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Portugalete AFC's Aurelio Izel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 89th minute Ariel Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Jobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Santo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Christian Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Portugalete AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
