After 17 played minutes, Portugalete AFC's Teodoro Leoiar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeo Ted came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portugalete AFC reached it. Portugalete AFC's Joaquin Locaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Portugalete AFC from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Leoiar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Los de siempre's Erasmo Cordarin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Locaio. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Joaquin Locaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Estefan in the 28th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Portugalete AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Harriet to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Ariel Santo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Erasmo Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Locaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 58 minutes into the game, Ariel Santo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Ted. Ariel Santo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. The Los de siempre fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Los de siempre's Humberto Valerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ariel Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Portugalete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Santo. Aureliano Iztal's late challenge caught a Portugalete AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Iztal helped the player get up and apologised. Aureliano Iztal hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Romeo Ted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Santo in the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Valerio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Locaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the game, Erasmo Cordarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Joaquin Locaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugalete AFC's Fabricio Ipar suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Valerio during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
