After a defensive mix-up in Ramblones's zone, Guaberto Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Oriche came out of the goal and Guaberto Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Benigno Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ángel Willis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gaspar Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Ángel Willis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Miguel Ángel Willis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Bermudez was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Marcos Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oriche having to interfere. A collision led to Pichaihué AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eugenio Boni hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ramblones's Benigno Romano in the 38th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gaspar Bermudez was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pichaihué AFC through an amazing save. Rafael Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ellande in the 43rd minute of play. Guaberto Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pichaihué AFC's Guaberto Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Ramblones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Ángel Willis to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Boni hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramblones's goalkeeper Rafael Oriche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Benigno Romano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ramblones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Romano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ramblones getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Mariano Jayvier hit a great ball. Pichaihué AFC's Iker Soter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rafael Oriche but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Pichaihué AFC defense, Benigno Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Bermudez. The Pichaihué AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Bermudez should have stopped the shot. When Ramblones's Miguel Ángel Willis in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pichaihué AFC's goalie prevented a goal.
