Esteban Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jimeno Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Jimeno Leocadio scored 0-4 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Leocadio in the 22nd minute of play. Esteban Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Lluques in the 26th minute of the match. Club Atlético Arizona's Franco Di Marco got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Salvador Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Arizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Leocadio in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Tadeo Lluques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Esteban Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Generoso Hats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Abreu. Club Atlético Arizona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Esteban Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Leocadio went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Leocadio came free, but Esteban Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Di Marco made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Suero in the 51st minute of play forced Club Atlético Arizona's goalkeeper Esteban Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Di Marco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Lluques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Abreu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Leocadio could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Esteban Abreu however easily saved by the left post. Esteban Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Lluques in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Salvador Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carpintería AFC's Baltasar Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Di Marco in the 79th minute of play. Jimeno Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimeno Leocadio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Arizona's Esteban Abreu got control of the ball when Jimeno Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carpintería AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
