After a rather tough play, Carpinteros lml's Jonathan Berto got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ruben Louis's late challenge caught a Catúa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Louis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carpinteros lml getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ruben Louis hit a great ball. Ruben Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Santxol got free with Vladimiro Batista in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 played minutes Catúa got a freekick which was hit by Donato Alfonso. Carpinteros lml's Jonathan Berto got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Santxol came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vladimiro Batista could save by the left post. In the 29th match minute, Catúa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Batista was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Matias Sedeni. Jonathan Berto struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Vladimiro Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpinteros lml. Donato Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Donato Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Sedeni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Berto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Batista saved Catúa from getting behind. Donato Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carpinteros lml's Jonathan Berto got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Berto in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Lisandro Santxol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpinteros lml fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpinteros lml's goalkeeper Arnaldo Demesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Santxol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vladimiro Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Catúa's Vladimiro Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Santxol in the 83rd minute of play. If Jonathan Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carpinteros lml booed when Catúa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpinteros lml's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
