The audience was convinced that Jimeno Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Quinten was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Feliks Zurawski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Jimeno Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Carpintería AFC's Baltasar Florinio got control of the ball when Edgar Söder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimeno Leocadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Quinten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Leocadio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 played minutes Club Atletico Falcon got a freekick which was hit by Elias Roano.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliks Zurawski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Club Atletico Falcon's Edgar Söder in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Baltasar Florinio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Baltasar Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Zurawski in the 54th minute of play. Jimeno Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Quinten having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Zurawski in the 80th minute of play forced Carpintería AFC's goalkeeper Baltasar Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Zurawski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpintería AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tadeo Lluques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ciro Quinten made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
