With a little luck, Tuizón's Placido Cayo got control of the ball when Lisandro Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Loco Fumarola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Cayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th play minute Loco Fumarola came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Placido Cayo. 2-0. Anacleto Oidor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Placido Cayo made a huge save. Placido Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Florin in the 15th minute of the match. Placido Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Florin in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Tuizón's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Florin came free, but Placido Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Jaen having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Tuizón's Bel Boule nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Jaen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Placido Cayo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lisandro Florin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. Placido Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Florin in the 33rd minute of play. Placido Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Florin in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Fumarola got free with Placido Cayo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tuizón's Placido Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Rumaldo in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Tuizón getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Froilan Firmin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Rumaldo in the 74th minute of play forced Tuizón's goalkeeper Placido Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Cayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anacleto Oidor went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Anacleto Oidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Cayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Oidor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruben Orti hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Rumaldo in the 89th minute of play forced Tuizón's goalkeeper Placido Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Gatis Jurciņš left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colon de Sta Fe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Hach in the 95th minute of play forced Tuizón's goalkeeper Placido Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Colon de Sta Fe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
