In the 11th minute Honorio Feo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Regina's Fabian Odon got a free kick in the 11th minute. Flavio Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nicanor Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Ioritz in the 15th minute of the match. Club Atlético River's Timoteo Chuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético River from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Regina's Nicanor Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Feo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Clemente Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Arnau hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Paulino Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Regina's Omar Ubelteso got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Club Atlético River got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Ioritz. Liu Bin Nan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gomez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Florencio Gorosti's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Regina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Gorosti helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Club Atlético River got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Gorosti. Cirilo Dabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Feo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Feo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Eudoxio saved Club Atlético Regina from getting behind. When Honorio Feo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético River's protests and gave Honorio Feo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute Liu Bin Nan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, one of Club Atlético River:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético River. Omar Ubelteso walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Timoteo Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Bin Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Club Atlético River's Timoteo Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Dabi in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Club Atlético River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Feo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Dabi in the 71st minute of play forced Club Atlético River's goalkeeper Timoteo Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Regina's Nicanor Eudoxio got control of the ball when Honorio Feo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liu Bin Nan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Club Atlético River echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Club Atlético Regina had held the ball for most of the match.
