The Stephenson players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético River were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Feo made a kick off. Flavio Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Timoteo Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Pedro Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Feo in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin Pelayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Martin Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Atlético River defense, Pedro Nevada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Chuan. The Club Atlético River fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Chuan should have stopped the shot. When Flavio Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Stephenson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Benvido couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd match minute, Club Atlético River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Feo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lorien in the 76th minute of play. Stephenson's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Flavio Lorien scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Pelayo, making the score, 2-5. Flavio Benvido took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timoteo Chuan. Timoteo Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Maximino Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Lorien kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Pelayo. That made the score 3-6 in the 95 minute of play. The Stephenson fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético River were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
