After taking down the ball on Curupaity's corner Joaquin Aurre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Fortun quite easily take care of the ball. After 15 minutes, David Vincent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APOCOLOCYNTOSIS and the Curupaity players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, APOCOLOCYNTOSIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Amado Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Fortun having to interfere. Joaquin Aurre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes, Curupaity's Raimundo Guillem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulino Fortun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curupaity reached it. Curupaity's Marcos Bartolome proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Curupaity from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, APOCOLOCYNTOSIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Fortun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Gonsalvo in the 35th minute of the match. The wind increased when Emanuel Ipar made the kick off in the second half. Paulino Fortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to APOCOLOCYNTOSIS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. David Vincent hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Tohias in the 57th minute of play forced Curupaity's goalkeeper Marcos Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curupaity's Emanuel Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curupaity's Amado Gonsalvo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Curupaity booed when APOCOLOCYNTOSIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to APOCOLOCYNTOSIS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eduardo Nicholas hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Curupaity's Joaquin Aurre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
