The referee ignored Cachipampa's protests and gave Leopoldo Senen a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Cachipampa got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Senen. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Aquilino Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Cordearo in the 53rd minute of play. Nemesio Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Frances having to interfere. La Dropeta's Aquilino Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cordearo in the 57th minute of play. Aquilino Frances made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Miguel Urtun sent off a good shot on target. Aquilino Frances didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Urtun went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Aquilino Frances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Dropeta's Aquilino Frances proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save La Dropeta from getting a goal against them. Cachipampa played a much better game than La Dropeta and deserved their victory. The La Dropeta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
