The Los Hermanos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lopes should have stopped the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hermanos EC's zone, Higinio Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Lopes came out of the goal and Higinio Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Martin Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Los Hermanos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Vedillo couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hermanos EC's goalkeeper Benito Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Daniel Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Los Hermanos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cordero couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ensenada FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Higinio Barea hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Daniel Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hermanos EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Benito Lopes was a little too slow when Cristian Frederico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Santio in the 59th minute of play forced Los Hermanos EC's goalkeeper Benito Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ensenada FC's Silvestre Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cordero in the 62nd minute of play. If Carlos Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Frederico went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jesus Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvestre Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Vedillo in the 77th minute of play. Silvestre Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cordero in the 82nd minute of the match. Daniel Cordero scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Bilbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Carlos Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hermanos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Benito Lopes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Los Hermanos EC's Esteve Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Ensenada FC's Benito Lopes threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Higinio Barea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Florentino Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Hermanos EC booed when Ensenada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes, Ernesto Donostia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ensenada FC and the Los Hermanos EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ensenada FC's Ernesto Donostia got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ensenada FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
