Benito Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigve Angelsen in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate de VicenteLóp's zone, Nemesio Mirande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Preda came out of the goal and Nemesio Mirande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigve Angelsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benito Lopes made a huge save. Carlos Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Los Hermanos EC's Carlos Vedillo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate de VicenteLóp's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Lopes made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sigve Angelsen sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Evaggelos Iasonidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Lopes, 1-0. Daniel Cordero's late challenge caught a River Plate de VicenteLóp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Hermanos EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Daniel Cordero hit a great ball. After 39 minutes of play, River Plate de VicenteLóp's Prudencio Ramirez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sigve Angelsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prudencio Ramirez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Ramirez during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigve Angelsen came free, but Benito Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Carlos Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Preda having to interfere. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sigve Angelsen sped through Los Hermanos EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Lopes. A collision led to Los Hermanos EC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nemesio Mirande hit a great ball. Benito Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigve Angelsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dante Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hermanos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Preda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Prudencio Ramirez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate de VicenteLóp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Benito Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörg Siekötter went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute Sigve Angelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Romero hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, River Plate de VicenteLóp's Prudencio Ramirez made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! River Plate de VicenteLóp's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
