In the 41st match minute, Curupaity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Domingues to maneuver through the defense. C.A.Alvarado's Jonas Caitano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edelmiro Elizardo in the 51 minute of the game. Jonas Caitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Bartolome having to make a save. A collision led to Curupaity getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Igor Domingues hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, Curupaity's Raimundo Guillem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jairo Frisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curupaity reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Esdras in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Bartolome saved Curupaity from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ipar in the 60th minute of play forced C.A.Alvarado's goalkeeper Jairo Frisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.Alvarado's Jairo Frisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Alvarado from getting a goal against them. The C.A.Alvarado fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when C.A.Alvarado's Efrain Esdras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 76 minutes into the game, C.A.Alvarado's Efrain Esdras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Bartolome made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. C.A.Alvarado's Niceto Caradaro was substituted for Higinio Cordarin. Jairo Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Igor Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curupaity and the C.A.Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Curupaity got a freekick which was hit by Igor Domingues. Jairo Frisco made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Amado Gonsalvo sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Mancio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Bartolome. Curupaity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Mancio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 92nd minute Niceto Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcos Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Efrain Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A.Alvarado fully deserved thier win.
