The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Enrique Vitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Victorino Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fermin George came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Bravos Muchachitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin George couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bravos Muchachitos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enrique Vitin hit a great ball. Guaberto Columbo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Santos -OFF's Santiago Sauveur. But to his dismay, Santiago Sauveur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Felo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bravos Muchachitos's Claudio Felo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Robustiano Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Columbo having to interfere. Aureliano Ortzi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Santos -OFF's Santiago Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Telmo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Telmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Cesar Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Bravos Muchachitos's Arturo Dantae shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celestino Urtun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bravos Muchachitos reached it. Celestino Urtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Montez in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Montez to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Enrique Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bravos Muchachitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Vitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Urtun having to interfere. Bravos Muchachitos's attentive Fermin George managed to snatch the ball when Julio Sendoa made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Santiago Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Santos -OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Sauveur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Columbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Bravos Muchachitos got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Felo. The long shot by Santiago Sauveur in the 64th minute really tested Guaberto Columbo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cesar Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Santiago Sauveur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sauveur in the 77th minute of play forced Bravos Muchachitos's goalkeeper Guaberto Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Sauveur during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aureliano Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Enrique Vitin struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Celestino Urtun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bravos Muchachitos. Bravos Muchachitos's Guaberto Columbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Bravos Muchachitos from getting a goal against them. Victorino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Columbo having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
