In the 18th minute, Victorio Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes in the game Jonas Miro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Isidro Sabin. 21 minutes into the match, Cumbita's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Bartoli came free, but Arnaldo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Bartoli's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. It was beautiful to see Achiras's Cosme Sedeni in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Bartoli in the 35th minute of play forced Cumbita's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arnaldo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
