Elvio Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Angelo Iratxo fired a really elegant long shot, but Geir Bø threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Elvio Cordearo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Massa Fc's Bonifacio Evis. Bonifacio Evis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Tello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geir Bø having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Tello got free with Geir Bø in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Hector Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Massa Fc defense, Elvio Cordearo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Evis. The Massa Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Evis should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Salvador Cambranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massa Fc the free kick. Geir Bø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Massa Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
