The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Oalo got free with Hernan Fernandez in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Behe hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Emanuel Lauren struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Hernan Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA JUNIORS LA 12. A collision led to Viento Norte getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Saul Figueroa hit a great ball. Aaron Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Ignacio Sidoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Hever. BOCA JUNIORS LA 12's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Sidoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ignacio Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viento Norte's Ignacio Sidoro got a free kick in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Florencio Gimenez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hernan Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hernan Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Kemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Emanuel Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BOCA JUNIORS LA 12's Emanuel Lauren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Edgard Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viento Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Senio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Hever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Gimenez in the 72nd minute of the match. Hernan Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Aaron Astudillo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viento Norte! The referee gave BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacinto Gaxan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viento Norte's Hernan Fernandez. 3-1. Hernan Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lauren in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Viento Norte got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Senio. 99 minutes into the match, Florencio Gimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Fernandez. Viento Norte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
