In the 15th minute, Rodolfo Cidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabricio Gartxot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremias Santikurtz. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Carlos Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Christobal took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Gitano. Armando Gitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nieves AFC's Generoso Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Nieves AFC's protests and gave Fabio Quintin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nieves AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fabio Quintin hit a great ball. Armando Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Colas in the 78th minute of the match. Jeremias Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gaueko in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Severino Osorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jeremias Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Osmundo in the 86th minute of play forced Nieves AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Colas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Gitano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Generoso Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armando Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
