Jeremias Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiestatonda. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Carlos Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieves AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Christobal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Angelo Rivero in the 35th minute really tested Jeremias Santikurtz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. David Luzaide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Christobal went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 41 played minutes Fiestatonda got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Jaume. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Christobal in the 44th minute of play forced Fiestatonda's goalkeeper David Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience was convinced that Paulo Xacintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Santikurtz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Camilo Jaume was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Fiestatonda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nieves AFC:s goal. When the final whistle sounded Nieves AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fiestatonda.
