Spectators: 7182 (Terracing: 5535, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Christobal started the match with the kick off. In the 8th match minute, Nieves AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, los troncos's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Christobal came free, but Miguel Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, los troncos's Jairo Martinez got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to los troncos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jorge Cuartio hit a great ball. Nieves AFC's Generoso Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Christobal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Timo. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. If Cleto Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes los troncos got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Martinez. Miguel Timo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Christobal's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Pancho to make the kick off. Saturnino Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Generoso Colas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Timo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Colas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind los troncos's goalkeeper Miguel Timo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Pancho in the 57th minute of play forced Nieves AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Colas in the 62nd minute of play. Jonas Silvanito hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nieves AFC's zone, Rigoberto Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Santikurtz came out of the goal and Rigoberto Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Christobal struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Miguel Timo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieves AFC. Saturnino Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Santikurtz having to interfere.
