Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Gimenez started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Rigoberto Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Hever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Hever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Hever having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, BOCA JUNIORS LA 12's goalkeeper Adolfo Hever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Elazar. When Saturnino Pancho came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the los troncos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Pancho couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to los troncos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rigoberto Fernanco hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, los troncos's Saturnino Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Hever narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Saturnino Pancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Hever was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 37th match minute, BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Behe to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Miguel Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Gimenez in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of los troncos booed when BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Behe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Rigoberto Fernanco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Hever showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Antonio Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, los troncos's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Gimenez came free, but Miguel Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Florencio Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Gaxan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Saturnino Pancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. los troncos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOCA JUNIORS LA 12 the free kick. After 81 played minutes los troncos got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Pancho. After having played for 83 minutes, Saturnino Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los troncos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Pancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, BOCA JUNIORS LA 12's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Pancho came free, but Adolfo Hever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cleto Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Elazar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Adolfo Hever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los troncos. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. los troncos had played much better football throughout.
