Armando Gitano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Abel Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Bover Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Cidro. Leon Herauso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Gitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Bover Juniors defense, Remigio Virila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Gitano. The Bover Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Gitano should have stopped the shot. Armando Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Virila in the 38th minute of play. Remigio Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Gitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Alejo Flores did an outstanding performance 42 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-3 to the right of an irritated Armando Gitano in the goal. The Aimogasta fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Aimogasta's Remigio Virila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 54 played minutes Aimogasta got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Flores. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Koldobika got free with Armando Gitano in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gervasio Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Bover Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Gartxot. After 65 minutes, Efrain Calixto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bover Juniors and the Aimogasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bover Juniors's Efrain Calixto got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Bover Juniors's Leo Gaueko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Castulo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Bihar during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Bover Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Bihar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Koldobika in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Gitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Aimogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Cidro came free, but Braulio Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leon Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Aimogasta's Abel Koldobika ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Gitano.
