Armando Joey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Kusko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. After 42 minutes, Erasmo Emmanuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Yoca and the Cuquero players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Yoca getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erasmo Emmanuel hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Cuquero got a freekick which was hit by Felix Hustaz. Club Atlético Yoca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Blanco in the 50th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 78 played minutes Cuquero got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Rozarius. When Samuel Kusko came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club Atlético Yoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Kusko couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Danilo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Che got free with Benito Kala in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cuquero's Leonel Clis got a free kick in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Yoca fully deserved thier win.
