If Elvio Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th match minute, Muñoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Brun to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Remigio Roldanillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Muñoz FC's Tiburcio Eron. Tiburcio Eron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elvio Unax scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Lando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Intxixu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASCE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muñoz FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, ASCE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Tadeo Romo put in a rough tackle. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ASCE FC! Alberto Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Lando made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Elvio Unax sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Mirande in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Eron saved Muñoz FC from getting behind. The supporters of Muñoz FC booed when ASCE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Froilan Ekain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASCE FC and the Muñoz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Mirande was the one to do the kick off. Muñoz FC's Elvio Unax got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Remigio Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, ASCE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Brun came free, but Ramiro Lando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Brun in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ASCE FC's Ildefonso Intxixu got a free kick in the 71st minute. ASCE FC's Ramiro Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Etxatxu in the 81st minute of play. Tiburcio Eron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Mirande in the 85th minute. Remigio Roldanillo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Eron. Tiburcio Eron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Alberto Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tiburcio Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
