Teofilo Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Gambeta's Nicanor Eliazar got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Deportivo Gambeta were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Eliazar to make the kick off. Deportivo Gambeta's Placido Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, CA ARDILOS's goalkeeper Teofilo Anaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Eliazar. Mehmet Osman Oyanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Anaya having to interfere. Nicanor Eliazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Anaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Tanio in the 65th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Placido Tanio notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya. Teofilo Anaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya got control of the ball when Nicanor Eliazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segundo Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Emesto in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes, Nicanor Eliazar made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Brais having to interfere. Roman Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Deportivo Gambeta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA ARDILOS throughout the match.
