Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Venerando to strike the kick off in the second half. Astor Hitzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Unax in the 52nd minute of the match. After 52 minutes, Arsenio Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jardón AFC and the Muñoz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Muñoz FC booed when Jardón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Jardón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Dayam. Jardón AFC's Rogelio Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Venerando struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tiburcio Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardón AFC. The audience was convinced that Albano Venerando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiburcio Eron was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Godofredo Brun scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Hitzeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvio Unax struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Astor Hitzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muñoz FC. Elvio Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Astor Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Godofredo Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muñoz FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jardón AFC for a fine match.
