But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Micael couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Placido Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Ostots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Brais having to interfere. Placido Tanio scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Ostots, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Ignatius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Segundo Brais firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Estela's Cosme Ignatius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Segundo Brais. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Segundo Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Micael in the 26th minute of play. Ruperto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Eliazar in the 30th minute of play. When Damian Zuraw fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Gambeta's protests and gave Damian Zuraw a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Zuraw hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Estela's Ruperto Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Eliazar in the 35th minute of play. Ruperto Ostots didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Osman Oyanalp went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Ostots was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nayden Zhotev in the 46th minute of play forced Deportivo Gambeta's goalkeeper Segundo Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Eliazar was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Placido Tanio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Gambeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Tanio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruperto Ostots didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Eliazar went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Estela's goalkeeper Ruperto Ostots had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Tanio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Eliazar got free with Ruperto Ostots in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nayden Zhotev hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. During the 80th minute of the match Damian Zuraw completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Damian Zuraw a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 81 played minutes Deportivo Gambeta got a freekick which was hit by Damian Zuraw. With his leg Ruperto Ostots managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Deportivo Gambeta's Nicanor Eliazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Isaias Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ruperto Ostots made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Nicanor Eliazar sent off a good shot on target. The Deportivo Gambeta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Estela from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
