When Venancio Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Real Madrid Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Gitano couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Medanitos's Placido Gipuzkoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Galsino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Edgard Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Edgard Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Galsino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Edgard Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute of the game Nicolas Turi made a throw-in which Teofilo Pagomari played forward. Pastor Hotz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Galsino. Ruperto Galsino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Francis in the 41st minute of play forced Real Madrid Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ruperto Galsino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Madrid Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Medanitos were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Pagomari to strike the kick off in the second half. Americo Abel struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ruperto Galsino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medanitos. Real Madrid Futbol Club's Ruperto Galsino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Hotz in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Americo Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Galsino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Medanitos made a substitution. Sebastian Alonso replaced Godfredo Bertin. Pastor Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Real Madrid Futbol Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gonzalo Berto hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Medanitos's Sebastian Alonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Francis got free with Ruperto Galsino in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Galsino made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Americo Abel sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Real Madrid Futbol Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. After recieving a nice pass, Medanitos's Edgard Francis tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Medanitos got a freekick which was hit by Americo Abel. If Sebastian Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Real Madrid Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Medanitos's performance. The match ended with a win for Medanitos.
