The tension between the Olivos Juniors FC and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olivos Juniors FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ovidio Erasto hit a great ball. Boca Juniors's Isidro Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Pinto in the 19th minute of play. Olivos Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adan Etxepare took the corner. Olivos Juniors FC's Adan Etxepare was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidro Toli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Cirilo Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Curcio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 37th minute Cirilo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Curcio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Pedroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Curcio ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Alfonso Pedroso managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Boca Juniors's Alejandro Curcio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Curcio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Olivos Juniors FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Omar Harriet. A collision led to Olivos Juniors FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cirilo Pinto hit a great ball. Boca Juniors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Olivos Juniors FC had controlled the match.
