When Cayetano Iratzeder fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dr Favaloro's protests and gave Cayetano Iratzeder a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Lore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ubaldo Lore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Chale in the 14th minute of play. Jan Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto-Dionisio Maschio in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Dr Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by Federico Venceslas. With a little luck, Los Tucu-Tucu's Jan Brask got control of the ball when Humberto-Dionisio Maschio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Lore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Petri's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Dr Favaloro's Humberto-Dionisio Maschio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto-Dionisio Maschio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jan Brask didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr Favaloro. In the 42nd minute, Filiberto Chale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Filiberto Chale made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Haimar's late challenge caught a Los Tucu-Tucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Haimar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dr Favaloro's Francisco Haimar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Federico Venceslas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Godfredo Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tucu-Tucu's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Petri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Los Tucu-Tucu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nereo Bonadona hit a great ball. Jan Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto-Dionisio Maschio in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dr Favaloro's Eriberto Socorro got a free kick in the 64th minute. A hard shot by Godfredo Petri from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Ubaldo Lore's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 71 played minutes Dr Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by Federico Venceslas. When Los Tucu-Tucu's Filiberto Chale in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr Favaloro's goalie prevented a goal. Federico Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Tucu-Tucu's Jan Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto-Dionisio Maschio in the 81st minute of play. Filiberto Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Lore having to interfere. If Filiberto Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Dr Favaloro's Ubaldo Lore got control of the ball when Godfredo Petri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Lore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Chale in the 92nd minute of the match.
