Fabian Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Orlondo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Columbo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Maşallah Abdulkärimov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Orlondo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Gavino Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maşallah Abdulkärimovs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Miguel Orlondo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 21st minute Maşallah Abdulkärimov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabian Jobo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Caspian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Jobo couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caspian FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Ludomil Chmelyk kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Caspian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Maule came free, but Abelardo Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Maşallah Abdulkärimov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caspian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maşallah Abdulkärimov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Independiente Mza's Jairo Muc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Cristofol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Caspian FC's Maşallah Abdulkärimov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Orlondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 39th minute of play forced Independiente Mza's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maşallah Abdulkärimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caspian FC's Genaro Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maşallah Abdulkärimov struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Miguel Orlondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caspian FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Maşallah Abdulkärimov made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Erubiel Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Independiente Mza defense, Fabian Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Orlondo. The Independiente Mza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Orlondo should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Fabian Jobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caspian FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Caspian FC's Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente Mza's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Abelardo Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo Muc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abelardo Cristofol. That made the score 2-3 in the 89 minute of play. When Caspian FC's Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente Mza's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Maşallah Abdulkärimov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caspian FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maşallah Abdulkärimov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Although Caspian FC had been in control for most of the match, Independiente Mza still came away with the win.
