The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Senon during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Leandro Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Paternal AFC's Celso Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Gudesteo in the 17th minute of play. Aureliano Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sacahumo FC's Dante Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Felipo in the 27th minute of play. Jairo Santiago hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Aureliano Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Donio having to interfere. Hugo Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dante Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Llorienzo in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Gudesteo to strike the kick off in the second half. Celso Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Sabino in the 58th minute of play. Aureliano Llorienzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Donio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Llorienzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Erdiano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Erdiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Sacahumo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Aureliano Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Paternal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Llorienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Donio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Frederico hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Sacahumo FC's goalkeeper Dante Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Felipo. Dante Donio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Felipo in the 79th minute. Celso Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Sabino in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Aureliano Llorienzo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st minute Aureliano Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Donio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Felipo in the 95th minute. Aureliano Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sacahumo FC could leave the field as winners, despite La Paternal AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
