With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Demesio in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 武昆钢 saved recoba unidos from getting behind. recoba unidos's 武昆钢 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Demesio in the 33rd minute of play. Justo Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Faustino Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, recoba unidos's goalkeeper 武昆钢 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Argina. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 86th minute, Damian Demesio made a precise shot to the right of 武昆钢. recoba unidos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 武昆钢 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Demesio in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Damian Demesio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 武昆钢 was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Cochrane FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
