To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Carmelo Florian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timbocito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cochrane FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Timbocito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cochrane FC:s goal. The referee gave Cochrane FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apolo Eufemio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Timbocito FC's Siro Caitano. 2-1. The Cochrane FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Timbocito FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Timbocito FC.
