But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Ermegildo Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolado Bracero during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in anteojitos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 1-2 came in the 33rd minute when Haroldo Mendiko all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Victorio Ado. Victorio Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Llorienzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. La Paternal AFC's Celso Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Martxot in the 41st minute of play. Victorio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Felipo in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Celso Erlantz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by anteojitos's Marco Hustaz. But to his dismay, Marco Hustaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 55th match minute, anteojitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Marco Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victorio Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to anteojitos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marco Hustaz hit a great ball. When Tomás Sindo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored anteojitos's protests and gave Tomás Sindo a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Sindo in the 74th minute of play. When Rolado Bracero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to anteojitos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rolado Bracero hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Haroldo Mendiko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of La Paternal AFC booed when anteojitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Jerico in the 92nd minute of play. Nicanor Savion kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The La Paternal AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented anteojitos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
