A sloppy throw-in by Severiano Pirro in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Matungos F.C.'s Romano Aguacero. In the 30th minute, Romano Aguacero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 32nd minute, Romano Aguacero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Erik Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Edgard Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jan-Erik Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th match minute, Super Massi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Corbeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Matungos F.C. were awarded a corner. Arturo Iturri went to the cornerflag to take it. 58 minutes into the match, Matungos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Candido Lidon came free, but Jan-Erik Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Candido Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Edgard Distiratsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 played minutes Super Massi got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Serafo. Matungos F.C. made a substitution. Gavino Iliana replaced Timoteo Dino. In the 79th match minute, Super Massi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Serafo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Super Massi getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rodrigo Serafo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Super Massi's Rodrigo Serafo got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Delmar Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matungos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 庞凡轩 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celso Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
