The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uriel Atarrabi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Mecánica's zone, Gabriel Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Volpe came out of the goal and Gabriel Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eron Abellaneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of La Naranja Mecánica booed when Los Potrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes La Naranja Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Atarrabi. La Naranja Mecánica's Anthony Volpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save La Naranja Mecánica from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, La Naranja Mecánica's Faustino Bermund got a free kick in the 40th minute. Eron Abellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Perez in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Hernan Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eron Abellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Los Potrillos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Naranja Mecánica were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Fernandez made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as La Naranja Mecánica's Hernan Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eron Abellaneda. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. Anthony Volpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Fernandez in the 63rd minute of play. Hernan Perez scored 0-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eron Abellaneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eron Abellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Perez's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 罗亮政 hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Hernan Perez made a precise shot to the right of Eron Abellaneda. Los Potrillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Ioritz during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Potrillos getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Niceto Ioritz hit a great ball. When Hernan Perez came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the La Naranja Mecánica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Perez couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Papo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo Papo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Naranja Mecánica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
