In the 13th minute of the match Matungos F.C. got a corner. MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Iturri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Angelo Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12 booed when Matungos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12's zone, Arturo Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Oliverio came out of the goal and Arturo Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. Jan-Erik Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Aguacero in the 31st minute of play forced MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12's goalkeeper Angelo Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Iturri in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Oliverio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Erik Spetz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Elpidio Isusko sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Iturri made a kick off. Jan-Erik Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jan-Erik Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Rodas in the 55th minute of play. Teofilo Ignado hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Timoteo Dino charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Dino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timoteo Dino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Isusko couldn't finish the play. If Romano Aguacero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Arturo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matungos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Iturri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
