Mean Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Ebardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Deunoro hit a great ball. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Moreno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Dino took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Hustaz. Silvano Hustaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Oinatz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Hustaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carmelo Dino came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Dino couldn't finish the play. Silvano Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Oinatz in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Moreno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Deunoro. Ivan Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ciceron in the 46th minute of the match. The Moreno AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mean Machine were winning 0-2.

Jairo Locaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Saturnin in the 52nd minute of play.
