Jairo Locaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marcos AFC's Gjermund Bergo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Locaio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jairo Locaio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marcos AFC's Marcos Soin. But to his dismay, Marcos Soin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Marcos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Ståhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Ebardo to make the kick off. Ronaldo de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Locaio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. In the 89th minute, Bernardo Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Saverio Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
