Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erubiel Chumo started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Cuquero's Silvio Egun made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Mateus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurinegro club's Ulises Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Francesco in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Pascual Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Aurinegro club got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Abascal. A hard shot by Leon Astrada from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Ulises Mateus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 16 minutes into the match, Faustino Pere notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cuquero's Dario Cambiasso. Dario Cambiasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Faustino Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Pascual Francesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Mateus. Aurinegro club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Francesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Silvio Egun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ulises Mateus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pascual Francesco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ulises Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Egun in the 33rd minute of play. Sean Allison received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulises Mateus came out and tried to block the shot, but Sean Allison slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Chumo in the 40th minute of play forced Cuquero's goalkeeper Dario Cambiasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Cuquero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Astrada to maneuver through the defense. When Sean Allison came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cuquero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Allison couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sean Allison to make the kick off. Ulises Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Francesco in the 51st minute of play. Ulises Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Cambiasso was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Armando Asier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Asier really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Francesco in the 63rd minute of play forced Aurinegro club's goalkeeper Ulises Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Armando Asier notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Cuquero's Dario Cambiasso. Dario Cambiasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 played minutes Aurinegro club got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Obano. After a defensive mix-up in Aurinegro club's zone, Sean Allison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Mateus came out of the goal and Sean Allison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Aurinegro club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Pere to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Diego Vasco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aurinegro club's Roberto Rocio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 86th minute Armando Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Cambiasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Obano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Allison, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aurinegro club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cuquero.
