In the 15th minute Jacinto Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Rojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Moreno in the 17th minute of play forced The Falkland Islands's goalkeeper Fausto Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, The Falkland Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, C.A.Franzoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Incendio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Raúl Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Franzoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raúl Moreno made a kick off. If Jacinto Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The Falkland Islands's Herminio Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Herminio Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Rojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.A.Franzoi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcos Aresti hit a great ball. When Joaquin Tavio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the C.A.Franzoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Tavio couldn't finish the play. Wladyslaw Rojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Astigar in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Herminio Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Rojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.A.Franzoi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Falkland Islands.
