Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leukippos Demarchis started the match with the kick off. Fausto Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukippos Demarchis in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Cerrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Poz. 7 minutes into the game, Jacinto Astigar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Atilano Gartzea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Cerrillos AFC defense, Jacinto Astigar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Gartzea. The Cerrillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Gartzea should have stopped the shot. Fausto Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukippos Demarchis in the 28th minute of play. Cerrillos AFC's Atilano Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Astigar in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to The Falkland Islands getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Herminio Lucero hit a great ball. Cirilo Nuno hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cerrillos AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mariano Roldan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Frasco put in a rough tackle. After 56 minutes The Falkland Islands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cleto Elequemedo who took care of the corner kick. Cleto Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fausto Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cleto Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Silverio Kiliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Falkland Islands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Herminio Lucero made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 71stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Atilano Gartzea would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Herminio Lucero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Atilano Gartzea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Albano Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Kiliz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Gartzea having to make a save. If Herminio Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cerrillos AFC's Atilano Gartzea got control of the ball when Silverio Kiliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Falkland Islands's Fausto Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leukippos Demarchis in the 91st minute of play. Felipe Sanduru's late challenge caught a Cerrillos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Sanduru helped the player get up and apologised. Cirilo Nuno hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Herminio Lucero struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Atilano Gartzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Falkland Islands. The Cerrillos AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Falkland Islands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
