Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Baldomiro Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simpro's protests and gave Baldomiro Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Baldomiro Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Cleto Elequemedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Eskuin. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Cleto Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrillos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Elequemedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Eskuin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cleto Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cerrillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. Atilano Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Gilen in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Cerrillos AFC booed when Simpro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Simpro's zone, Cleto Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Eskuin came out of the goal and Cleto Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mariano Roldan sent off a good shot on target. Cleto Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Eskuin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Simpro booed when Cerrillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes in the game, Leukippos Demarchis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lorenzo Eskuin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Simpro's zone, Cleto Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Eskuin came out of the goal and Cleto Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leukippos Demarchis to make the kick off. Mariano Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Mariano Roldan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Eskuin was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Cleto Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Reynardo came free, but Atilano Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Leukippos Demarchis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lorenzo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Nuñez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Eskuin. Simpro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 71 played minutes Simpro got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Dolcet. Atilano Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simpro's Lorenzo Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leukippos Demarchis in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cerrillos AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Simpro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
