Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacinto Astigar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Duardo to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Astigar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Falkland Islands's Jacinto Astigar got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Javiar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Roberto Javiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fausto Txaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Herminio Lucero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Belo. MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Lucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Jacinto Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Astigar in the 25th minute of play forced MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Baldomiro Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Lorenzo Frasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Belo skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Falkland Islands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARITO FUTBOL CLUB the free kick. After 30 played minutes The Falkland Islands got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Frasco. The long shot by Severiano Dalmu in the 31st minute really tested Fausto Txaran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rolando Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jacinto Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, The Falkland Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Fresco to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fausto Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guaberto Oalo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MARITO FUTBOL CLUB booed when The Falkland Islands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Severiano Dalmu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Txaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MARITO FUTBOL CLUB reached it. In the 52nd minute, Cirilo Nuno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Luceros short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Baldomiro Belo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herminio Lucero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Baldomiro Belo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guaberto Oalo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Oalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guaberto Oalo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Herminio Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Baldomiro Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Jacinto Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Baldomiro Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Belo came out of the goal and Herminio Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacinto Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Euloxu in the 74th minute of play forced MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Baldomiro Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When The Falkland Islands's Jacinto Astigar in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the match, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Lucero came free, but Baldomiro Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MARITO FUTBOL CLUB booed when The Falkland Islands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Jeremias Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Falkland Islands's Fausto Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Javiar in the 85th minute of play. Herminio Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
